1. What Żjara is
Żjara is a booking marketplace that connects customers with independent professionals ("providers") across Malta. We provide the booking platform only — we are not a party to, and take no responsibility for, the services a provider actually delivers.
2. Provider responsibilities
Providers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listing, holding any licenses or registrations required for their profession, complying with Malta's advertising rules for regulated categories (e.g. medical, physio & podiatry), and honoring bookings made through the platform.
3. Customer responsibilities
Customers agree to provide accurate contact details when booking and to attend or cancel appointments in good time. Repeated no-shows may result in a provider declining future bookings.
4. Cancellations
Either party can cancel a confirmed booking from their dashboard or account page. Żjara does not currently process payments, so no refunds are handled by us — any payment for services is a matter between customer and provider directly.
5. No liability for professional services
Żjara does not vet, supervise, or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by listed professionals, except where a "Verified" status is explicitly shown. Any dispute over a service rendered is between the customer and the provider.
6. Account termination
We may suspend or remove any account that violates these terms, misuses the platform, or provides false information.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of Żjara after a change means you accept the updated terms.
